DCK Inks and Lettering plus Spot Illustration

Done mostly with Microns and Brush. The Skull-moth was done with a ball point pen.

Octopus double page spread

Double Page spread for a recent Joe Kubert Assignment. The other pages for this assignment turned out okay, but nothing I'm crazy about.

DCK pencils

Pencils to my project with Zane and Brea Grant. Some of these are rough, but will be tightened up in the inks. I've got 2 pages inked already and am working hard on the other ones.

Joker

Done for Buniak's class. We were supposed to take a famous image and make it our own. There's no special meaning behind this piece. It was done to fulfill the purpose of the assignment. Try not to read too much into it.

Dead City Kids Cover

Cover for a new project I'm working on with Brea and Zane Grant. They wrote "We Will Bury You" and are currently working on the Suicide Girls comic for IDW. Super cool people and a fun script to work from. We're working up some narrative pitch pages to shop around. Hopefully something comes of it! I'll let you know.

BATMAN RIP

3 pages of Grant Morrison's Batman RIP for sample pages in my portfolio. Enjoy!

Sacrifice

This actually happened to me when I worked for the YMCA in Peru, Indiana. I was working in the childcare department. The only exaggeration is that I didn't have an iPhone at the time. Pen and ink then digitally lettered.
